Rexulti and Abilify

Many Americans are prescribed Rexulti or Abilify to treat mood and mental disorders. Studies have shown that these drugs affect the dopamine reward receptors in the brain and can cause the development of compulsive behaviors. Some people, after they start taking Rexulti or Abilify, develop destructive impulsive behaviors - including excessive gambling, uncontrollable shopping, binge eating and hypersexual behavior. Internal documents of the drug manufacturer confirm that the company knew Rexulti and Abilify could cause patients to suffer from serious and uncontrollable compulsive behaviors, yet the company failed to timely warn doctors and patients of this risk. The drug maker also failed to properly assess the dangers of Rexulti and Abilify before selling these drugs and exaggerated the benefits of the drugs by encouraging physicians to use them for purposes not approved by the FDA (such as, anxiety disorders, dementia, eating disorders, insomnia, obsessive-compulsive disorder and post-traumatic stress disorder). The drug company made billions of dollars in sales while misrepresenting the benefits and risks of its products.

If you suffered financial trouble, family issues, or emotional injuries as a result of compulsive behaviors while taking Rexulti or Abilify, you may be entitled to financial compensation or to recoup your losses from the drug manufacturers.
