Super Lawyers

For the past twenty years, Rainey Booth has handled mass tort and complex litigation cases. In 2001, he joined Zoe Littlepage to form the joint venture partnership of Littlepage Booth, a firm focusing on complex and pharmaceutical cases. Littlepage Booth was the lead plaintiffs’ state court team in the Rezulin litigation (Rezulin is an anti-diabetic drug that was removed from the market due to liver toxicity). Littlepage Booth reviewed more than six million pages of Rezulin documents, took more than 100 days of depositions and Mr. Booth tried five of the nine Rezulin trials nationwide, achieving jury verdicts of over $40 million.

In 2003, Mr. Booth was elected co-lead of the Scientific Committee for the Hormone Replacement Therapy MDL litigation. As such, he was responsible for developing experts, marshalling the medical evidence and reviewing the scientific issues for all MDL hormone therapy cases. Mr. Booth tried fifteen hormone therapy cases - across the country - and obtained significant verdicts for his clients including $137 million for three Nevada plaintiffs, $78 million for an Illinois plaintiff and multiple jury awards above $10 million.

Mr. Booth participates annually in the Global Scavenger Hunt. The Global Scavenger Hunt raises charitable funds for the Great Escape Foundation, a foundation that provides education and basic medical needs to some of the most economically challenged villages around the world.
