Defective Drug - Fen-Phen
The popular diet drug combination, Fen - Phen, involved the combination use of Fenfluramine (known as Pondimin) and Phentermine (Fastin, Adipex, Zantryl etc.) or Dexfenfluramine (Redux). The drug manufacturer, American Home Products, removed both Pondimin and Redux from the market in September of 1997. These drugs cause two different health problems: (a) Primary Pulmonary Hypertension (PPH) which is an elevation of blood pressure in the passageway between the heart and the lungs and (b) damage to the user's heart valves. These are serious medical injuries which can necessitate heart surgery. Littlepage & Booth has settled tens of millions of dollars in Fen-Phen claims for our clients.
If you or someone that you love has been injured by Fen-Pen or if you would like more information on the drug, please email April@littlepagebooth.com
